Call to Worship – Revelation 5:12-13
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

Alleluia, Alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns.
Alleluia, Alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns. Alleluia.
Alleluia, Alleluia, for the Lord God Almighty reigns. Alleluia.
Holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty.
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb,
You are holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty.
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb, Amen!
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb,
You are holy, holy are You, Lord God Almighty.
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb, Amen!
Now Why This Fear
© 2011 Sovereign Grace Worship Music and alt. and add. words by Doug Plank, original vss by Augustus Toplady (1772)
Now why this fear and unbelief?
Has not the Father put to grief
His spotless Son for us?
And will the righteous Judge of men,
Condemn me for that debt of sin,
Now cancelled at the cross?
Jesus, all my trust
Is in Your blood
Jesus, You’ve rescued us
Through Your great love!
Complete atonement You have made,
And by Your death completely paid
The debt Your people owed
No wrath remains for us to face
We’re sheltered by Your saving grace,
And sprinkled with Your blood.
Be still, my soul, and know this peace
The merits of your Great High Priest
Have bought your liberty
Rely then on His precious blood,
Don’t fear your banishment from God
Since Jesus sets you free
How sweet the sound of saving grace
How sweet the sound of saving grace
Christ died for me
Prayer of Confession
Almighty and most merciful Father; We have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done. And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those, O God, who confess their faults.
Restore those who are penitent; According to your promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O merciful Father;
For his sake by the power of the Spirit, that may we hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life; To the glory of your holy name.
Assurance of Pardon—Heidelberg Catechism
Q. 1. What is your only comfort in life and death?
A. That I am not my own, but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death, to my faithful Saviour Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with His precious blood, and has set me free from all the power of the devil. He also preserves me in such a way that without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, all things must work together for my salvation. Therefore, by His Holy Spirit He also assures me of eternal life and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for Him.

Let now the weak say I have strength
By the Spirit of pow'r
That raised Christ from the dead
Let now the poor stand and confess
That my portion is Him
And I'm more than blessed
Let now our hearts burn with a flame
A fire consuming all for Your Son's holy Name
And with the heavens we declare
You are our King
We love You Lord, we worship You
You are our God You alone are good
Let now Your church shine as the bride
That You saw in Your heart
As You offered up Your life
And now the lost be welcomed home
By the saved and redeemed
Those adopted as Your own
We love You Lord, we worship You
You are our God You alone are good
You asked Your Son to carry this;
The heavy cross, our weight of sin
I love You Lord, I worship You
Hope which was lost now stands renewed
I give my life to honour this:
The love of Christ, the Saviour King
Offering our Tithes and Gifts to the Lord

It Is Well with My Soul

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
when sorrows like sea billows roll;
whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
it is well, it is well with my soul.
It is well (it is well) with my soul (with my soul).
It is well, it is well with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
let this blest assurance control,
that Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
and has shed his own blood for my soul.
My sin – O the bliss of this glorious thought! –
my sin, not in part, but the whole,
is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more;
praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight,
the clouds be rolled back as a scroll,
the trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend,
Even so! It is well with my soul.
